- Having your coach ask your thoughts about your race and giving his input on what you can do next time
- Your coach designing killer drills and feeling how strong they make you
- Another girl insisting that you use her spare rear wheel so you can try out a smaller cog
- Meeting a woman at the Ballard Market who's riding an old Italian, red fixed gear bike and talking to her for 20 minutes about all the bike/fixed gear nerd things in a language that no one esle would understand
